However,I still adjusted some things in order to make the controls a little bit more responsive. Now that I turned this in-game setting to on, suddenly there's no deadzone problem at all. Because even though the Xbox One controller support was checked in Steam settings outside of the game, the previously mentioned in-game setting (Steam Input under Settings / Gamepad) was set to off, so basically the game blocked any Steam configurations this way. In fact, that's why there were any problems with the stick deadzone. The game recommends to turn it off if you use an Xbox One, PS4, or Xbox 360 controller, which is quite contradictory and illogical because Eidos just recently released Xbox One, PS4, and Xbox 360 Steam configurations that the player can only use if this option is set to on in the game.Īnd that's why I wasn't able to adjust deadzone, etc. You can find it under Settings / Gamepad. There's an in-game setting called Steam Input. You have to do exactly the OPPOSITE of what the game recommends.
